Ph.D. in Forestry (Wildlife Sciences) from the Forest Research Institute (Deemed to be University) and Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. Her research focused on pollinators in indigenous farming systems in the Garhwal Himalaya. Her interests span a diverse range of disciplines, including mountain agriculture, particularly indigenous farming techniques, crop habitat management, agroforestry, forest ecosystem services, and ex-situ conservation (Butterfly Park). Currently working on the sustainable management of water resource-based forest ecosystem services project of GIZ in Uttarakhand.
